No trip to Mull can be complete without hopping on my favourite ferry journey over to the western end of Ardnamurchan. There’s not much I can say about it better than is already covered by A Kilchoan Diary, a fantastic insight in the goings on of a small population over a large distance. Every time I’m there I look at the same house with the ‘for sale’ sign in the window and think “why do I not live there” ?
